In the world of the occult and magick, Ego contributes in boosting the energy required to bring about the manifestation of one's will. One can not believe in one's magick without first believing in one's self. I feel Ego has gotten a bad wrap over time due to the fact that some tend to advertise their qualities maybe more than others are willing to hear about them. But Ego is a positive in my world. I would not have retired from the Marines without a strong Ego.



I came across this website and author and may even purchase a book or two. I enjoyed reading his blog.

What is Metaphysics?

One of the most common questions I’m asked is this …what is Metaphysics?? So I thought this would be a great way to start my first blog…so here’s the simple explanation of Metaphysics…



During my engineering courses in college, I took numerous courses on physics. Physics typically deals with physical matter or anything that can be measured within the 4 dimensions of space-time (length, width, height and time). The prefix ‘Meta’ means ‘beyond’, therefore ‘Metaphysics’ means ‘beyond physics’ or anything that falls beyond the space-time dimensions. For example, if someone was to ask where is your brain, you can point to it, see it, touch it, measure it with a ruler or even scan it; therefore the brain (like your body) is a part of physics or the space-time dimension. However, if someone is to ask you where is your mind, you can not point to it, see it, touch it or measure it with physical instruments, therefore the mind, along with all those other things we all agree exists but take for granted such as imagination, emotions, belief systems, intuition, creativity, choice, consciousness, soul, spirit, wisdom and so on are all part of this body of knowledge I refer to as Metaphysics.



So how does imagination work…or what really is consciousness…how did my belief system become what it is and how can I change it??? We’ve spent so much time and research understanding all the mechanical parts of a car or even our body, such as how each organ is related to the other organs in our physical body. However we have very little knowledge as to how the emotion of anger is developed and how can it be diffused before the anger manifests itself into an action or choice made out of anger. Through gaining a better understanding of the inner workings and processes of the mind and its relationship to these various other metaphysical aspects of our consciousness, we can learn how to transform negative constrictive mindsets to positive constructive ones. In doing so, not only can we better ourselves individually, but collectively, we can overcome this Domination mindset (control, have power over others through superior position, etc.) that has plagued humanity for thousands of years, and create a better humanity and sustainable peace through a mindset of Dominion (collaboration, supreme ownership and power over yourself, not others, etc.).



The following are a few aspects of Metaphysics, which I described in more detail in my book:



Metaphysics is the knowledge of the human mind in its total complexity, which is generally known as “self” or “ego”.



Metaphysics is the knowledge of the body, mind, soul and spirit relationship.



Metaphysics is understanding and knowing the dynamic process of the human mind.



Metaphysics is the knowledge of transmuting, transforming and transcending negative emotions into positive emotions, negative ego into positive ego.



Metaphysics is the pathway to spirituality.



Metaphysics is the knowledge of how to consciously create reality.

Questions Pertaining To Magick Spells



Q: After I conduct a ritual, how long do I wait to see if it worked or not?

A: I wait one Lunar Month or 30 days.



The Moon is the astronomical body closest to us and, therefore, it has a profound influence upon us. The highest energy occurs at the Full Moon and, therefore, this is the most powerful time for magickal workings. The New Moon is the next most powerful time for Magick. However, ritual can be performed at anytime.



It takes 29.5 days from the moon to complete one cycle. The moon completes its orbit around the earth in 27.3 days (the sidereal month), but due to the Earth's motion around the sun it has not finished a full (synodic) cycle until it reaches the point in its orbit where the sun is in the same position.



So I allow all influences to play their part on my will being done within one Lunar Month or 30 days.



The type of magick that Warlocks and Witches practice never yields immediate results on the material plane. We don't do Hollywood type magic where we snap our fingers, blink our eyes or twitch our nose. That's Hollywood entertainment magic. We put our will or magick out into the universe and wait for the energy and forces to do their part. Energy and Forces that also includes human action. A Warlock or Witch understand that once a spell is performed, there is something called "the Bridge" or "Magical Link" which boils down to being proactive. If we do a spell for a new job, we don't just sit around the house waiting for a phone call, we go out and look and apply for jobs. When we perform spells for others, they too must be proactive for the spell to manifest. A spell never ends with casting. The point is that spells tip the balance, they don't do the laundry.



Q: What if my magick does not work?

A: This is similar to asking what should one do if their prayer isn't answered. There could be a number of reasons why a spell wouldn't work, but if it doesn't there are a few things one can do such as give it more time to manifest, try the same spell again, but do it in a way or during a time that would boost the energy of the spell, try an entirely different spell, or lastly ask a different practitioner of magick to perform the spell.



Q: Isn't a magickal result just a coincidence?

A: By one definition all Magick is a coincidence that manifests into your reality with perfect synchronicity. Furthermore, so what if it is? It happened right?

Moon Phase Correspondences for Magical Workings



* New Moon Magic *



New Moon workings can be done from the day of the new moon to three-and-a-half days after. The new moon is for starting new ventures, new beginnings. Also love and romance, health or job hunting.



* Waxing Moon Magic *



From seven to fourteen days after the new moon.The waxing moon is for constructive magic, such as love, wealth, success, courage, friendship, luck and health.



* Full Moon Magic *



From fourteen to seventeen-and-a-half days after the new moon. Prime time for rituals for prophecy, protection, divination. Any working that needs extra power, such as help finding a new job or healing for serious conditions, can be done now. Also, love, knowledge, legal undertakings, money and dreams.

From ten-and-a-half to fourteen days after the full moon. The dark moon is a time for ridding oneself of bad habits, Binding spells, for exploring our darkest recesses and understanding our angers and passions. Also bringing justice to bear.

The Warlocks Handbook: The Principle of Magic Made Flesh

The Complete Idiot's Guide To Wicca and Witchcraft

There are three (3) types of Rituals in the world of the occult.



- Sex

- Compassion

- Destruction



So on Feb 18th (New Moon) I performed a Compassion Ritual seeking continuous good luck, wellness and serenity for myself, family & friends.



I discovered yesterday that two friends who are as Brothers to me both were owners of new cars that they really needed in their lives.



Furthermore, one of my Surrogate Sisters and her family finally obtained her own apartment.



Some call it coincidence....me, well I simply call it MAGICK! :D

So of the 'Witchcraft' movie series I tracked down and purchased consist of 13 movies from 1988-2008.



To my knowledge, all of the movies went straight to DVD, but some did quite well. For example, Witchcraft 2, the film cost $80,000 to make and wound up making over one million dollars for the distributors.



Furthermore, some of the movies are said to be cullt classics and are hard to find. In fact, it's cheaper to find them on VHS, but to find them in DVD format, some sellers are asking for more than a hundred dollars. For example, Witchcraft IV: The Virgin Heart 2003 DVD is going for $159.78.



Wow, who would spend that much money for a DVD?

I mean no disrespect to anyone, but there is no doubt that Wicca is a predominately female driven pagan religion. Although it attempts to balance itself by including a horned male God as well as establishing the role for males as Priest along side of their Priestess, but the main focus is on the role that their Goddess and Priestess play in their religion.



There is an obvious leaning in favor of all magickal things feminine over the masculine ones. It's a pagan religion that attracts many feminist and lesser masculine men. It's true they accept males, but a strategic move they made is to discourage any male power play to transform Wicca, that was introduced to the public in 1954 by a male by the name of Gerald Gardner and which the name itself is a masculine term for wizard, into a Patriarchy type religion. They did this by starting a campaign to negatively talk about male practitioners of magick who refer to themselves as anything but the term 'Witch'. 'Warlock' had been the masculine title for its counterpart 'Witch' for years. However, they began promoting the concept that the term 'Witch' is gender neutral and now have some males sporting pointy Witch hats, calling themselves Witches and rejecting any other known masculine titles for male practitioners of magick such as 'Warlock', 'Wizard', 'Sorcerer', 'Mage', 'Magician', 'Enchanter', 'Druid', 'Magus', 'Shaman', etc, etc. Many of their male strongest supports for the term 'Witch' for males, let's be honest, are not the most masculine of men and find that Wicca is better suited for them. However, some Wiccans could no longer justify their dogma of bashing the term 'Warlock' as something negative while attempting to reclaim the term 'Witch' at the same time and have ended that ignorant practice.



Although including a male God, it is implied that the feminine Goddess is the supreme power and usually the male God is mostly diminished to the point of just being a lover. One can only google image the term witchcraft and magick and find more soft, nice, and attractive images of 'Witches', but most male images are of those somehow connected to the Christian devil or have naked men claiming men are 'Witches' too.



I personally understand the need and desire for females to have a religion that promotes Matriarchy after so many other religions have their Male God and Male Priest. However, I feel Wicca can do this without dividing the Pagan community by hating on any masculine term for male practitioners of magick including the term 'Warlock'.
